DJ Denise, host of the show Midnight Confessions: Lovelines After Dark, receives a caller whose story of love and loss eerily resembles her own past as a Navy sailor serving in Guantánamo Bay shortly after 9/11. As the caller and Denise reveal more of their story, the viewer delves deeper into the mind and heart of a Latina trying to understand the chaotic circumstances of her life, and the legacy of her mistakes.
